Scope

This policy covers recurring subscriptions, paid products, commissioned projects, pilots, retainers, and other services supplied directly by PortX Technologies. A product-specific notice or signed agreement may set additional cancellation rules.

Subscriptions

You may cancel a recurring subscription through the relevant product account area or by contacting support. Unless product terms or applicable law state otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and prevents the next renewal.

Before commissioned work begins

Where a project is cancelled before work starts, PortX will identify any reasonable non-cancellable costs already committed. Any refund due is assessed under the signed agreement and Refund Policy.

Projects and institutional services

Cancellation of discovery, pilot, rollout, operational support, or other commissioned work is governed by the signed statement of work. Its notice periods, completed milestones, work in progress, third-party commitments, outstanding fees, and handover obligations continue to apply.

Cancellation by PortX

PortX may suspend or cancel a service for material breach, unlawful or abusive use, security risk, non-payment, or a legal or regulatory requirement. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. If PortX ends an engagement for another reason, fees and any refund will be assessed fairly against work performed and costs incurred.

Handover and access

On the effective cancellation date, PortX will follow the applicable agreement for delivery of paid-for work, return or deletion of client materials, removal of access, and transition support. Additional handover work may be chargeable where it falls outside the agreed scope.

Data export and retention

Where a product supports export, you should request or complete it before access ends. Data may be retained after cancellation where required for security, dispute resolution, backups, legal obligations, or another purpose described in the Privacy Policy.

Outstanding fees and surviving terms

Amounts due for delivered services, completed milestones, approved expenses, and committed third-party costs remain payable. Confidentiality, intellectual-property, data-protection, liability, dispute, and other terms intended to survive cancellation remain effective.

How to cancel

Email info@portxtechnologies.com from the account or authorised organisation address. Include the relevant product, account, order, or agreement reference and the requested cancellation date. Do not send passwords or complete payment-card details.

Statutory rights

This policy operates alongside rights and remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer, contract, or data-protection law. Where those rights provide greater protection, they take precedence.
